Bilawal Bhutto’s categorical stance: India must be brought to the negotiating table, even if it is by grabbing it by the ear

London: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman and head of the parliamentary delegation Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Pakistan wants peace, development and stability in the region, and if India has to be brought to the negotiating table by grabbing it by the ear to establish peace, then the world must take this step.

Talking to the media at the Pakistani High Commission in London, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari categorically said that India’s anti-Pakistan narrative is based on lies and the international community has now recognized this fact. He said that Pakistan has always condemned terrorism and has told the world that India itself has been supporting terrorists.

The PPP Chairman said that Pakistan’s stance is clear and consistent: all issues can be resolved only through dialogue, be it the Kashmir issue, terrorism or the water dispute. Bilawal Bhutto asserted that India cannot unilaterally terminate the Indus Waters Treaty, and if India tries to stop Pakistan’s water, it will be tantamount to open aggression and war.

He urged international organizations, especially the United Nations, to take notice of India’s human rights violations and actions like the killing of Sikh leaders abroad. Bilawal said that Pakistan wants peace and has always adopted a positive attitude under this spirit.

Bilawal Bhutto appreciated the recent statements of the US State Department, saying that the role of America is important for establishing peace in the region, and India’s negative campaigns are harming American peace efforts.

Finally, he praised the Pakistani media, saying that the role of the media in difficult times has been commendable, and it is still at the forefront in highlighting the national narrative on the global stage.
