US denounces terrorist attack in Pakistan

Washington: US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel condemned the recent acts of terrorism in Pakistan.During a press briefing on Thursday, the Deputy Spokesperson condemned terrorism, specifically referring to the attack on the railway station on November 9.”We strongly condemn these violent incidents”, Patel said. He said that the United States has declared the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) as a global terrorist organization. Patel said that countering such threats is in the interests of both.America and Pakistan. “Addressing these challenges is a shared responsibility. We stand firmly with Pakistan in the war against terrorism,” he said when asked about the Indian cricket team’s non-participation in the Champions Trophy in Pakistan.Born in the Indian state of Gujarat, the Deputy Spokesperson himself acknowledged the complex nature of India-Pakistan relations.He replied diplomatically.The Deputy Spokesperson spoke about sports diplomacy and its role in building better foreign relation
