PM Shehbaz orders to expedite actions against tax defaulters

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his satisfaction over the improving economic situation of the country while also directed to speed up action against tax defaulters. Presiding over a meeting to review the economic situation, the Prime Minister emphasized that all sectors should contribute to the country’s development by paying their share of taxes. He issued clear instructions to speed up actions against tax defaultersThat tax evaders and their accomplices will not rest until they get justice. The Finance Ministry apprised the meeting of the recent discussions held with it.International Monetary Fund (IMF). In his remarks, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the country is moving towards economic stability. Thanks to the measures taken for economic development, the stock market is growing rapidly. He added that foreign investors are increasingly showing confidence in the policies of the government. He also stressed that the government will take all possible measures to fulfill its promises, stating that public welfare will be prioritized over every other initiative.He praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and the provincial government for agricultural reforms. He said that these efforts are important to ensure sustainable development in the sector and enhance food security. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif reiterated the importance of collective efforts for the development of the country. “All sectors should actively participate in nation building by paying their fair share of taxes,” he said.
