Pakistan focused on further increasing IT exports, says Shaza Fatima

According to the Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja, efforts are underway to further promote the country’s IT exports on the instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. This is a huge increase from $894 million during the same period last fiscal year. In October 2024 alone, ICT service exports earned $330 million, up 38.6 percent from $238 million in October 2023.. For the financial year 2024-25 (July to October), Khawaja said that with the full support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Ministry of IT, and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), both the government and the IT industry will export the country’s IT.
