IHC accepted the apology of IK and dismissed contempt of court

ISLAMABAD (Anmol News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) accepted the apology of PTI chairman Imran Khan and dismissed the contempt of court against him.

Dismissing the case, IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked that Imran Khan’s statement was apparently the contempt of court case. “However, we are ending the contempt of court proceedings against Imran Khan,” he observed.

He remarked that they are taking utmost care in the contempt of court case. “Imran Khan’s visit to District Courts and seeking a pardon is a good step,” he observed.

Hamid Khan, counsel for Imran Khan, contended that they had submitted the affidavit on the court orders.
