Gandapur assures fulfilment of promises made during PTM Jirga

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has reiterated his promises to fulfill the promises made in the Pakhtun Qaumi Jirga. The chief minister gave this assurance in a follow-up meeting of Jirga representatives with Gandapur. The Chief Minister said that the cases filed against the members of the Jirga will be completed. Speaking to the media, PNJ spokesperson Barkat Afridi said that the Chief Minister has assured us that the cases will be withdrawn.Compensation for the lives of people who lost their lives in the attack by policemen at the Jirga venue in October. However, they have demanded damages to property caused by the police force. Afridi told the media that Chief Minister Gandapur has promised another meeting with the Jirga to solve it. He said PTM faced unrest and security situationAnother jirga has also been allowed to be held in Karam to resolve the challenges. “The provincial government will provide us legal support [for the jirga],” Afridi said.
