🌠Iran’s retaliation: Missile attack on US base in Qatar, regional tensions at new level

Doha / Tehran / Washington — The ongoing tension in the Middle East took a new turn when Iran, in a fierce response to the attacks on US nuclear facilities, fired 6 ballistic missiles at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, while a US military base in Iraq was also targeted.
According to international news agencies, scenes of flames and lights were seen in the sky in the Qatari capital Doha, and the sounds of explosions echoed in several places. This attack is being described as a direct response by Iran to the US aggression.
No casualties or material damage have been confirmed so far, and there has been no official response from the US, Qatar or Iran.
Qatar has closed its airspace indefinitely in view of the threat, educational institutions have been closed and instructions have been issued to the public to stay at home.

Last night, the US targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan with the help of B-2 stealth bombers. President Trump claimed that the Fordow facility was completely destroyed and that it was “the most successful airstrike in the world”.
According to the US president, all the planes have returned safely and the message has been given to Iran that if such activities continue again, more attacks will be carried out.
🔥 Iran’s retaliation: Missile rain on Israel
Iran not only targeted the US base in Qatar, but also fired dozens of ballistic missiles at Israel. As a result of the attack, explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and occupied Jerusalem, while Israeli media confirmed that 86 people were injured.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards claimed that the strikes successfully targeted 14 key Israeli military sites, including command centers, biological research laboratories and AI systems.

According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), no dangerous increase in radiation levels was detected despite the attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization has also rejected the risk of nuclear contamination.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has called the US action a “grave violation of international law” and called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has warned that if the current tensions get out of control, it could have serious global consequences.

Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Iraq have expressed strong reservations about the US attack.
Cuba, Chile, Venezuela, and Mexico have strongly condemned the US action, calling it a violation of international law.
The UK has openly supported the US attack, while Australia and New Zealand have called for a de-escalation.
