Famous Bollywood actor Govinda, who was deeply attached to his mother Nirmala Devi, suffered a heartbreaking incident during the shooting of the film Life Partner in 2009.
According to Indian media reports, famous singer and actress Nirmala Devi died in 1996, however, a report says that Govinda ‘talked’ to his late mother for two hours during the shooting.
According to a report in Mid-Day, this incident came to light when Govinda’s brother Keerthy Kumar came to the set one day during the shooting and opened the back seat door of his car as if asking someone to come out, even though the seat was empty.
He held the hand of the ‘unseen’ figure and walked towards the set. Govinda, seeing his brother walking towards him holding someone’s hand, allegedly said, ‘Mom has come’ and touched her feet to seek blessings.
The actor then asked his brother to go and placed a chair in front of him, made the alleged invisible figure (whom he was calling Mami) sit on the empty chair and spoke to him for two hours.
This incident took place in front of all the crew and actors present on the shooting set, who were stunned. After a 2-hour long conversation, Govinda then asked his brother to take his mother back home. For this, everyone present called it inspiring and surprising, but to this day, the incident still scares people.
