US Congressmen host dinner in honour of Mohsin Naqvi in Washington

US Congressmen Henry Cuellar and senior member of the Financial Services Committee, Maxine Waters, hosted a dinner in Washington to honor Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi.During the dinner, Mohsin Naqvi and the Congress members exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and Pakistan-U.S. bilateral relations.A detailed discussion was held on Pakistan’s economy and the IMF program.Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing mutual contacts to strengthen Pakistan-US ties.Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi invited the Congress members to visit Pakistan.He also highlighted the significant contributions of the Pakistani community in the US, stating that overseas Pakistanis play a vital role in various fields.Naqvi praised the services of overseas Pakistanis in strengthening both the U.S. economy and Pakistan’s economic standing.Prominent Pakistani-American businessman Tahir Javed and Pakistan’s ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, were also present on the occasion.
