Unlike other provinces, Punjab completing projects through own resources: CM Maryam

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said Punjab is completing all of its projects by its own resources as the province has not sought funds from the centre.Addressing the inauguration ceremony of electric buses in Lahore, she said it is a priority of the Punjab government to provide relief to the masses.He said the rent of buses would be the lowest in any province and it would be around Rs20 to Rs35.The CM said almost 17,000 would get benefit from this facility and differently abled persons and students would get free cards. Moreover, CCTV cameras have also been installed in the buses to stop harassment of women.Continuing her criticism of PTI and its founder Imran Khan, she said during his tenure one would have to rely on bribery to get one’s work completed in the CM house.Lastly, she said she would not forgive those who brought great disorder and economic instability to the country.
