Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Saif has said that the federal government has remained completely silent on the letter of KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Barrister Saif said that the federal government has not yet responded to the letter from the Chief Minister of KP, which demanded the transfer of funds from the merged districts to KP.
He said that after the merger, the tribal districts have become part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Not transferring the funds of the merged districts to the province is a violation of the constitution and law.
The Information Advisor to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has demanded from the federal government that the funds of the merged districts be transferred to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It is imperative to economically stabilize the merged districts to prevent terrorism.Barrister Saif also said that the federation has stopped funds instead of supporting KP in the development of the merged districts.
