Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has sought the details of the foreign visits of the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister after Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s appeal for mercy.According to the details, the Islamabad High Court issued a written order to hear the case of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s release and repatriation.Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan issued a written order, in which it has been said that why the Pakistani ambassador did not attend the meetings with the members of the Pakistani delegation? A response has been sought in this regard.The Islamabad High Court ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to submit a report to the embassy and said that the ambassador should have attended the meetings of the delegation representing the government.After Aafia Siddiqui’s appeal for mercy, the court sought the details of the foreign visits of the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister.The decree said that according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the letter written by the Prime Minister to the American President was not answered. paidThe court said that it is also a fact that the Pakistani ambassador to America did not spare any time to play a frontline role. The Pakistani ambassador did not attend the important meetings of the official delegation from December 3 to 11. I used to take time out to attend meetings.The Islamabad High Court said that the ambassador was expected to give clear support to the issue raised in the letter of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, but the Pakistani ambassador to the US kept away from the delegation’s meetings with the members of Congress, considering it to be interference in the internal political affairs of the US. Avoiding the delegation out of fear is a contrary assumption.In the written order, it was further said that the ambassador, including the parliamentarians representing the country, sent the official delegation for the same purpose, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should take a stand from the embassy and submit a report at the next hearing, as well as the details of the foreign visits of the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister. May this not happen and Fauzia Siddiqui should not face unnecessary difficulties in her journey.Advocate Imran Shafiq on behalf of Fauzia Siddiqui appeared in the court in the hearing of the case, but the case should be fixed for the next hearing on January 13.
