PTI protest: Ali Muhammad Khan questions Aleema Khan, Bushra Bibi’s role

: In an alleged audio leak, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Muhammad Khan has expressed his dismay over the decisions taken before the party’s recent protest in Islamabad. He said PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, rather Aleema Khan, should have announced the protest, stressing that such announcements should come from the party rather than individuals. PTI founder (Imran Khan) always saidThat there is no place for family politics in our party, why did Alima Khan herself issue a protest? Khan can be heard asking questions in the recording. He said that such decisions should be informed through proper channels of the party. Khan added that the PTI founder had directed the supporters to gather in Islamabad, specifically not at D Chowk. “The plan was to decide the venue after the gathering of supporters in Islamabad. Why was the protest moved to D Chowk when there was an order to stay in Sangjani? he asked. He revealed that the PTI founder had focused on using protests as a platform for dialogue and opposed separate protests in Sindh and Punjab. “No one, including Bashira Bibi, has the right to overturn the decisions of our chairman,” he said.That Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur had also agreed to stay in Sangjani. He said that we should follow the orders of our leader and avoid creating confusion through personal decisions.
