PTI forms special squad to tackle shelling for Nov 24 protest

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has formed a special squad for the November 24 protest. According to sources, the squad will include members of the Youth Wing, the squad will be led by Provincial Minister Meena Khan and Special Assistant Sohail Afridi. Each district will contribute 250 youth participants to the squad. The squad will have a total of 9,000 youths, who will be ready to face potential shelling directly. The squad is equipped to protect and respond to shelling. Sohail Afridi said that he considers speaking out against oppression as a form of jihad, and the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will actively participate in it. He asserted that in this struggle he either hopes for martyrdom or will return victorious. Afridi further said that peaceful resistance against injustice is also a form of Jihad and he will continue his protest without fear of his life. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan called for a protest demonstration in Islamabad on November 24.
