PTI asks govt to form commission for holding next round of talks

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Wednesday asked the incumbent government to form a commission for holding the fourth round of the talks.Speaking to media in Islamabad, Khan said: “PTI founder Imran Khan has asked the party to go for the fourth round of the talks with the government only if there happens any development after forming the commission.””We held meetings with the government’s negotiation committee three times,” added Khan.He lamented: “The people are compelled to travel abroad illegally due to the imbroglio.”Meanwhile, expressing his thoughts, Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza claimed, “No payment in line with the Al-Qadir has been deposited in the PTI founder’s or any of the family members’ accounts.”Separately on Tuesday, National Assembly Opposition Leader Omar Ayub stressed the need for holding the “transparent” polls in the country.Speaking to media in Islamabad flanked by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Ayub said: “If they [rulers] are not having any authority then why are they going for the negotiations.”He lamented the “slow” internet speed in the country, saying, “The government is showing no vigilance in terms of addressing the problems in line with the internet.””Not even the nine percent of the development budget has been used to uplift the country,” Ayub said.Gohar said: “We have conducted the intraparty polls in line with the constitution. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has not granted us the certificate as of now.””We had given our response to the electoral watchdog in line with law and constitution. Hopefully, the PTI will be granted the certificate on the next hearing,” Khan said.
