President Zardari meets Turkish counterpart in Istanbul

President Asif Ali Zardari, who left Pakistan for Lisbon, Portugal to condole the death of Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, held a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul on Sunday.The meeting took place at the Ataturk Airport State Guesthouse before Erdogan’s departure for Malaysia. Zardari, who was preparing to leave Turkey, met with the Turkish leader prior to a scheduled press conference.Details of their conversation have not been disclosed.Earlier in the day, President Asif Ali Zardari left for Lisbon, Portugal to condole over the death of Prince Karim Aga Khan IV. The President will meet His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan to extend his condolences on the passing of his father.According to a statement issued by the President House, Asif Ali Zardari will also meet the President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
