Preparations for the Hajj season begin in Mecca

 

Preparations for the Hajj season have begun in Mecca. According to the Saudi Ministry of Interior, the requirement for a permit to enter Mecca will be implemented from April 23.

Foreigners in the kingdom on Umrah visas will have to return to their countries by April 29. Failure to return will be considered a violation.The Saudi Ministry of Interior says that from April 23, foreigners residing in various cities in Saudi Arabia will need a permit to travel to Mecca.

Those who travel without a permit will be sent back through Syrian or other checkpoints.

The Saudi Ministry of Interior said that people who have been issued residence permits from the city of Mecca will be exempt from the permit. Foreigners who need to travel to Mecca or the Grand Mosque for work will have to issue a permit through the portal.
