New Delhi: A major political twist came during the election atmosphere in India when a senior leader of the opposition party Congress played a video clip of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s controversial speech on a live TV programme, raising serious questions before the Indian people and the world.

The Congress leader played a clip of Modi’s speech in which he is seen seeking votes from the people by justifying the Pulwama attack. At this point, the anchor of the programme and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters tried to intervene, but the video exposed the truth to everyone.

According to security sources, the Congress leader strongly criticised the Modi government’s plan to use a sensitive incident like Pahalgam for political purposes, calling it an example of a “false flag operation”. He said that the BJP is also using the sacrifices of its soldiers to create a vote bank, which is regrettable and shameful.

Political observers say that the clip is a big question mark on Narendra Modi’s election strategy. They said that the Modi government is trying to gain electoral benefits by inflaming public sentiments on sensitive national issues.
