Political Committee makes approval of Mines and Minerals Bill conditional on consultation with founding PTI

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) political committee has made the approval of the Mines and Minerals Bill conditional on consultation with the founding PTI.

The political committee says that the approval of the Mines and Minerals Bill will be made after detailed consultation with the founder PTI.

After the founder’s permission and taking it into confidence, the bill will be approved by the assembly.The committee says that this bill will be in line with the agenda, manifesto, narrative, and public aspirations of the founding PTI. There was no rush on this bill, nor is it being done, nor will it be done.

The bill does not include any provision for transferring rights and mineral resources to the federation.The PTI political committee says that the bill does not include any provision to transfer SIFC or any federal institution, and consultations with other parliamentary parties will continue before the bill is approved.

According to the statement, the PTI founder issued instructions for the April 8 meeting in the political committee. The meeting participants were strictly prohibited from discussing details or instructions with the media. The meeting participants will give the PTI founder’s instructions in writing to the Information Secretary.

The Central Secretary for Information will be authorized to issue written instructions and statements to the political committee. No statement made by anyone other than the Secretary for Information will be considered authentic. The founder of PTI has instructed party officials to refrain from making statements against each other.

A show-cause notice will be issued for violation, and responsibilities will be withdrawn.The PTI political committee says that Barrister Gohar was informed about the powers of the Punjab Chief Organizer and was instructed to form a 6-member advisory committee with the Chief Organizer.
