Petrol price likely to increase from Dec 16

A marginal increase in petrol prices by 81 paise per liter and a reduction in diesel prices by Rs 3.94 per liter have been proposed for the next fortnight starting from 16 December 2024. The Finance Ministry had issued a notification to revise the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight starting from December 1. Petrol rose by Rs 3.72 per litre, taking the new price to Rs 252.10 per litre.
