Passenger buses collided with tankers in Afghanistan, 52 people were killedAt least 52 people were killed and more than 60 injured in two separate accidents involving passenger buses in Afghanistan’s Ghazni province.According to foreign media, a passenger bus collided with an oil tanker on the highway connecting Kabul and Kandahar in the southeastern province of Ghazni, Afghanistan, as a result of which 52 people were killed and 65 people were injured.Hamidullah Nisar, head of Ghazni’s Information and Cultural Department, said that one passenger bus collided with an oil tanker near Gaon Shahbaz in central Ghazni, while another passenger bus was involved in an accident in Andar district.The Afghan Taliban says that an investigation has been launched to find out the causes of the accident. Some of the injured persons are in critical condition and have been transferred to the hospital for medical treatment.
