Pakistan Weather Update: Rainfall Forecasted Across Multiple Regions, Karachi to Experience Thunderstorms

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted rainfall in several parts of the country today (Sunday), including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Balochistan, bringing relief from the heat.
In Lahore, the weather has become particularly pleasant over the weekend, with overcast skies and a noticeable drop in temperature. The cooling breeze has helped alleviate the intense heat, making conditions enjoyable across the city. The PMD predicts intermittent rain throughout the day, with temperatures expected to range between 23°C and 31°C. The cool weather is expected to continue in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid today, with strong winds picking up in the evening. Thunderstorms and rainfall are anticipated in the city tomorrow, adding to the changing weather patterns. The evening will bring cloudy skies, and the rain will provide some respite from the heat.
In Balochistan, most areas will continue to experience hot and dry conditions. However, regions such as Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Kalat, Lasbela, and nearby areas may witness thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds and rainfall, offering a much-needed break from the sweltering heat.
