Said that the State Department will continue to use sanctions, other tools for national security, we will continue to discuss these issues with the Pakistani government.Vedant Patel says that the sanctions will not affect Pak-US relations in other areas, the sanctions are based on our concerns regarding the ballistic missile program.It should be noted that the US has announced a ban on 4 companies for their alleged cooperation in Pakistan’s ballistic missile program.In this regard, the spokesperson of the US Department of State Matthew Miller said that the US is nominating 4 institutions of Pakistan for these sanctions.The companies mentioned include National Development Complex, Affiliates International, Akhtar & Sons Private Limited, and Rockside Enterprise.The U.S. State Department said the U.S. move was against weapons of mass destruction, adding that the companies provided facilities for the missile program.
