Pakistan, Iran agree to deepen bilateral cooperation in all spheres

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a bilateral meeting with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Aragchi on Tuesday in which both countries agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation in all fields. Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) meeting being held in Mashhad, Ira, during the meeting, they discussed areas of mutual interest and latest regional and global developments. The Deputy Prime Minister arrived here on Monday to attend the eventwhere he will reiterate Pakistan’s commitment to the ECO Charter and highlight the potential for greater connectivity in the ECO region through the development of road and rail networks. liberalizing the visa system and simplifying border procedures; and achieving sustainable development and enhancing the bio-economic potential of the ECO region.
