Pakistan, Bangladesh set to clash in 4th T-20 Blind Cricket World Cup final

Pakistan and Bangladesh have booked their places in the final of the fourth T-20 Blind Cricket World Cup, knocking Sri Lanka and Nepal out of the title race. In a thrilling display at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Pakistan beat Nepal in the first semi-final. After winning the toss, Pakistan invited Nepal to bat first. Nepal scored 94 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Durga Dutta 4 off 42 ballsScored 0 runs while Ramesh scored an unbeaten 17 runs off 30 balls. Matiullah of Pakistan bowled brilliantly and took three wickets for just five runs in his four overs. In response, Pakistan’s openers put up a brilliant batting performance. Kamran Akhtar played an unbeaten innings of 63 runs off just 21 balls which included 12 fours and a six while Babar Ali added 32 runs. Akhtar’s smoky innings included a record-breaking fifty off just 14 balls, whichset a new record for fastest fifty. T-20 Blind Cricket World Cup, Pakistan chased down the target in just one minute. 5.3 overs without the loss of a wicket. Kamran Akhtar was named Player of the Match and World Blind Cricket Council Secretary General Raymond Moxley received his award along with PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah. Won by 6 runs in the match. . After electing to field first, Sri Lanka conceded 244 runs in 20 overs, with Bangladesh being awarded six penalty runs due to Sri Lanka’s slow over-rate. Mohammad Salman of Bangladesh scored 97 runs off 49 balls with the help of 14 fours. Arif Hussain scored 81 runs off 56 balls including 10 fours.
