Karachi — Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has sharply criticized the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Omar Ayub, saying that he is not loyal not only to Sindh but also to the founder of his own party. He accused Omar Ayub of repeatedly changing loyalties for political gains.

Talking to the media in Karachi, Sharjeel Memon said that Omar Ayub “plays on both sides of the wicket” and is only doing politics for personal gain. He said, “Omar Ayub’s political history is a witness that he changed parties at different times and is still active in PTI to find his place.”

Sharjeel Memon claimed that “some PTI leaders, including Omar Ayub, want the party founder to remain in jail so that he can come forward and shine his political shop.”

He further said that the credit for giving the country a constitution, nuclear program, missile technology and a global identity goes to the Pakistan Peoples Party, whose sacrifices are a bright chapter in history.

After this statement by Sharjeel Memon, the political temperature in the country is expected to rise further, while Omar Ayub has not yet responded to it.
