Number of Hajj applications under govt scheme reaches 24,266

The number of Hajj applications under the official scheme has reached 24 thousand 266. According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the receipt of Hajj requests has increased rapidly. Applications are being collected from designated branches of 15 banks. The spokesperson said that the first installment of Hajj expenses which is Rs. 200,000. Payment must be made with the application and an additional Rs.400,000 must be deposited within 10 days of the draw.. The spokesman added that 4,000 applications were received on Tuesday, taking the total number of applications to 24,266. The Hajj will continue till December 3rd from the receipt of applications and the draw for the official Hajj scheme will be held on December 6th.
