Islamabad — Renowned nuclear scientist Dr. Samar Mubarakmand has said that the control and safety system of nuclear weapons is a very sensitive and important sector, which Pakistan has designed with great care and excellent planning.

Dr. Samar said that Pakistan has developed its command and control system, keeping in mind the best features of the world’s major powers, especially the Big Five countries, which is in line with world standards. He said that its first draft was prepared in 1998-1999 with his hard work, in which the valuable opinions of defense experts were included.

Dr. Samar Mubarakmand further said that Pakistan has also developed short-range tactical missiles that can hit the target with extreme accuracy within a range of 60 to 70 kilometers.

In response to a question about India’s water blocking, he said that if necessary, we have measures that can damage the enemy’s dams, this is known to both sides.

Talking about the historic nuclear explosions of May 28, Dr. Samar said that the Prime Minister himself had called him and asked him about the preparations in this regard, to which he replied that Pakistan is fully prepared and we are ready to defend ourselves in any case.
