National Cricket Team Announced: Talented Squad Ready for Tri-Nation Series and Asia Cup

Lahore (Sports Desk) –
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the national cricket team for the upcoming tri-nation series and Asia Cup 2025. During a press conference held in Lahore, the selectors, Director High Performance Center and Head Coach Mike Hesson announced a strong and balanced 17-member squad.
The squad features a blend of youthful spirit and experienced skill, while Salman Ali Agha has been retained as captain.

National Chief Selector Aqib Javed said that the team has been formed on the basis of performance and fitness. He said that Fakhar Zaman’s recent performance further strengthened the decision to include him in the squad.
He also made it clear that no door has been closed on any player and every eligible player will be given a chance.
Head Coach Mike Hesson expressed satisfaction with the team’s recent performance and said that 6 victories in the last 9 matches are proof of the team’s determination, discipline and hard work. He said that the focus of the players is on continuous wins and quality play.
