Khawaja Asif: Deal with Afghanistan is the responsibility of the federation, KP officials should remain within the constitutional framework

Islamabad: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that only the federal government has the authority to make policy and negotiate on Afghanistan, and the provincial leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will not be allowed to take independent steps in this regard.
He said that according to the Constitution of Pakistan, foreign affairs and national defense are the discretion of the federation, on which no individual or institution can be allowed to impose their opinion.
The Defense Minister made it clear that if the Chief Minister or Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has any position regarding Afghanistan, they should sit down and talk with the federal government. ”
We want them to come, attend meetings, and present their position so that we can find a better solution together,” Khawaja Asif said.
