Johannesburg (Cricket News): South Africa has suffered a major setback ahead of the ODI series against Australia, as their experienced fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has been ruled out of the three-match series due to a right ankle injury.

In Rabada’s absence, Koena Maphaka has been included in the squad. Maphaka was the leading wicket-taker against Australia in the recent T20 series, and his inclusion is expected to strengthen the team’s fast bowling.

Series begins: The first match of the three-match ODI series between South Africa and Australia is being played today, where both teams will try to show a balanced performance in the presence and absence of key players.
