Imran’s miseries increase as caseload against him reaches 188

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan’s woes continue to mount as the total number of cases against the jailed leader rose to 188 on Friday, according to an Interior Ministry report. Now 74 cases have been registered. He has been named in 99 cases in the capital Islamabad, while in Punjab, the former prime minister has been named in 99 cases. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where his party is in power,Khan has two cases registered against him. Moreover, the cricket-turned-politician has also been embroiled in seven inquiries by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), besides three cases filed against him by the National Accountability Court (NAB). The report also states that PTI founder’s appeal against conviction in the Tosha Khana case is also pending in the court, while new cases were also registered against him later.
