Imran Khan, others indicted in GHQ attack case

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and other accused were charged on Thursday in the May 9 GHQ attack case after four adjournments. The anti-terrorism court of Rawalpindi indicted 60 accused including former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former railway minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, former law minister Raja Basharat and Zartaj Gul. PTI founder and his deputy Qureshi were produced in the courtWhere their lawyers were also present. ATC judge Amjad Ali Shah denied the charges after reading the charge sheet. The trial was adjourned till December 10. After the indictment, the police arrested Raja Basharat and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Umar Ayub from outside Adiala Jail.
