Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned the US attack on Iran during his address to the National Assembly and said that Pakistan will not accept any aggression in the region, and if India does not accept the Indus Waters Treaty, Pakistan will respond at all levels.

Speaking during the budget debate in Parliament, Bilawal Bhutto said:
“Iran was attacked on the basis of lies, scientists and journalists were targeted, we strongly condemn this aggression.”

He said that after Israel in the Middle East, now the US has attacked Iran’s nuclear facilities, this act is a clear violation of international laws. Bilawal said in clear words that Pakistan stands with Iran.

New dimension in Pakistan’s foreign policy
Bilawal Bhutto praised the government’s strategy for effectively presenting Pakistan’s position at international forums, and said:

“In the past, India used to call Kashmir an internal matter, today we have made it an international issue again.”

He said that Pakistan has won the war of diplomacy, defense and narrative on every front, the conspiracies of India and the Israeli lobby have failed.

Message of peace and a clear red line
The Chairman PPP, while emphasizing the establishment of peace in the region, said:

“We are also well-wishers of the people of India, but if India deviates from the Indus Waters Treaty, Pakistan will not sit idly by.”

He said that the ceasefire is just a pause, the threat of war is still looming, and Pakistan must continue its defense preparations.

Budget support, praise for measures for the poor
Bilawal Bhutto praised the government’s measures to increase salaries and pensions in the budget, expand the budget of the BISP program, and reduce the tax burden on the working class, saying:

“Our party will fully support the budget, we stand with the government in every measure of public interest.”

He said that the Pakistani people are making sacrifices on the economic front, and the economic team of the current government deserves tribute for its efforts to reduce inflation.
