Metro bus service in Rawalpindi to remain unavailable for 4 days

The Metro Bus Administration has announced that the service will not be available in Rawalpindi from November 28 to December 1, it said that the service will be suspended from Saddar station to Faizabad station due to track maintenance. However, the bus service from Faizabad will remain closed till December 1. The Pak Secretariat will continue without any disruption, the administration says, adding that the service will be restored on December 2. Rawalpindi Islamabad Metro Bus Service is a major public transport system connecting the twin cities. Launched in 2015, the 24.8 km long corridor is designed to provide a faster, more efficient alternative to traditional road transport, helping to reduce traffic congestion in the region. The service operates on dedicated bus lanes, ensuring uninterrupted and speedy travel. Starting from Saddar area in Rawalpindi, this route passes through important areas like Committee Chowk, Faizabad and continues to important places in Islamabad.
