‘Ghar Se Ghar Tak’ policy to ensure seamless journey for Hajj pilgrims in 2025

Pakistan is set to introduce a new policy, “Ghar Se Ghar Tak,” to ensure enhanced support and facilitation for pilgrims traveling for Hajj in 2025.The initiative, aimed at improving the overall Hajj experience, will provide a comprehensive service to pilgrims from their departure in Pakistan to their return.Under the policy, official guides, known as nazmeen, will be appointed to assist pilgrims throughout their journey. A total of 600 nazmeen will be designated, with one guide assigned for every 150 pilgrims. These guides will accompany the pilgrims from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and back, providing vital assistance in navigating the journey and performing Hajj rituals. In addition to guiding pilgrims, the nazmeen will facilitate accommodation arrangements in Saudi Arabia and offer support during Hajj rituals. The Ministry of Religious Affairs stated that the guides will be instrumental in ensuring that pilgrims can perform their religious duties with ease and efficiency.Once the flight schedule for Hajj 2025 is announced, pilgrims will be informed about their assigned nazmeen.A few days ago, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued strict directives for the special preparations of Hajj 2025, emphasizing that no negligence in serving the pilgrims will be tolerated. The prime minister presided over a review meeting regarding Hajj 2025 preparations. He reiterated that pilgrims are Allah’s guests, and ensuring their comfort is the government’s top priority.During the briefing, the prime minister directed that a comprehensive report on Hajj preparations be presented in the coming days. He also stressed that highly reputed officers should be appointed for Hajj duties, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the process.
