Five terrorists killed, two soldiers martyred as security forces foil attack in Qila Abdullah

Security forces foiled an attack on a checkpost in Qila Abdullah, killing all five terrorists, including a suicide bomber.According to ISPR, during the night of January 27-28, terrorists attempted to attack a security forces’ checkpost in Gulistan, Qila Abdullah, Balochistan. The security forces courageously thwarted the attack.After the initial assault, the terrorists rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the checkpost’s outer wall. In the exchange of fire, all five terrorists, including two suicide bombers, were killed.In this intense clash, two brave soldiers, Naik Tahir Khan (39, from Tank district) and Lance Naik Tahir Iqbal (26, from Karak district), embraced martyrdom while fighting valiantly.ISPR stated that a clearance operation was ongoing in the area, and the culprits behind this heinous act would be brought to justice.”Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave men further strengthen our resolve,” said ISPR.
