Sawat (Special Report) — Federal Minister and President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engineer Amir Muqam presented two cheques of Rs 1 million each to two brave volunteers Muhammad Hilal and Ismat Ali, who saved countless precious lives during the recent floods in Swat, risking their own lives.

Amir Muqam said that the courage and sacrifice of Muhammad Hilal and Ismat Ali are a shining example of humanity and patriotism. He said that the bravery of such youth is a source of pride for us and proves that national strength lies in unity and compassion.

He assured that the government will make every effort to encourage and support those who serve the nation in times of crisis. Amir Muqam also thanked all the volunteers and relief workers who played a prominent role in the relief operations in the flood-affected areas.

Muhammad Hilal and Ismat Ali thanked the Prime Minister and the Federal Minister and said that they would continue to serve the nation at every possible opportunity in the future.

Former Provincial Minister Muhammad Ali Shah was also present on the occasion.
