Elected Government should complete its term. Sanjrani and Ch. Brothers agree.

ISLAMBAD(Anmol News): Sadiq, Senate Chairman, met with Chaudhry PervaizElahi and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ), to discuss the fact that the elected government has the power to extend its term.

The Chaudhry brothers and the Senate chairman discussed matters relating to current political developments as well as ongoing Balochistani development projects.

Speaking at the meeting, Chaudhry PervaizElahi, Speaker Punjab Assembly, stated that the Pakistani people had given a mandate for five consecutive years to the incumbent government. “We will not permit anyone to ruin the parliamentary norms,” said he.

He stated that meetings and the consultative process are part of the political system and that any decision will be made only after consulting the parliamentary party.

Chaudhry Parvaiz Elahi stated, “The democratic government has every rights to complete its tenure” and also added, “Elections should take place on the prescribed time.”
