Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar has said that the party chairman (founder PTI) has issued important instructions regarding the proposed Minerals Bill, which are being fully implemented.

Talking to the media, Junaid Akbar said that the founder PTI has instructed to refrain from voting on the bill, and has made it clear that the bill will not be approved until he meets the party leadership directly.

Junaid Akbar further said that the founder PTI’s instructions have been conveyed to all the concerned members of the assembly so that uniformity in the party’s stance is maintained.

He said that a three-member committee was formed to conduct a detailed review of the bill, which completed its report and sent it to the central leadership.

He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf believes in transparent legislation and prioritizing the public interest, and that is why the final decision on any law will be made only after the party’s internal consultative process.
