CM Gandapur on board with PTI decision to appoint new KP president: Gohar

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Barrister Gohar said on Tuesday the new president of the party’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter was appointed after the provincial chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur gave his consent on the matter.Talking to the media outside the Adiala Jail, we had only one dialogue committee and negotiations were held with utmost sincerity from our side but it did not turn out to be as expected.”He said it was the PTI’s demand that the judicial commission be announced within seven days while mentioning had it happened, there could have been a positive development in the dialogue process.The PTI chairman added that his party would join hands with other factions of opposition to raise voice against the 26th amendment. He did not rule out going to the courts in this regard.Addressing a question, he said some people have been spreading confusion on the new appointment of party’s president in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.He said during his meeting with the founder, the latter said he had received a message from Gandapur who said he was sacked from the post rather he himself was on board on this development.Gohar said Imran Khan said he had received a message from Gandapur in which the latter said he had been under tremendous work pressure and called for his replacement as provincial party president.
