Chaudhry Shujaat elected unopposed as PML-Q president

Former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was elected unopposed as the president of the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) in the intra-party elections.

According to a statement issued from Islamabad, the PML-Q has elected Tariq Hassan as the party’s Secretary General unopposed and Chaudhry Salik Hussain as Senior Vice President.

Chaudhry Shafie Hussain has been elected unopposed as the General Secretary of Punjab in the intra-party elections of the PML-Q.

According to the announcement, Dr. Muhammad Amjad has been appointed as the chief organizer of the Qaim League, while Ghulam Mustafa Malik has been appointed as the party’s central secretary for information.
