BNP announces end to 20-day sit-in at Mastung Lak Pass

 

The Balochistan National Party has announced the end of its 20-day sit-in at Mastung Lak Pass.Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief
Akhtar Mengal has said that the future course of action will be decided in the BNP central cabinet meeting in Quetta on April 18.

Akhtar Mengal has also announced to hold rallies in different districts.It should be noted that during the sit-in, data and internet service on mobile phones was also suspended in Quetta for a few days, due to which people faced problems.

The sit-in participants, led by party chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal, demanded the release of all arrested female workers of the Baloch Solidarity Committee, including Dr. Mehrang Baloch.In addition, on March 29, a suicide bombing took place at the Lak Pass location in Mastung district of Balochistan during the sit-in of BNP chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal.
