Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz hails masses for rejecting PTI Protest

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif credited the people of Punjab for taking a tough stand against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as she lamented the protest march that paralyzed life in the twin cities. Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter as the political tension eased, and acknowledged the unwavering support of the people of Punjab for not backing the protesters. He emphasized that the provincial government would not be able to deal with the disruptions caused by the protestsAnd is fully aware of the public suffering as a result. The Chief Minister directed the provincial administration to take immediate action to ensure supply of essential commodities, control inflation during this period of disruption and prevent unnecessary increase in prices.
