450 arrested, Bushra Bibi, Gandapur escape amid operation against PTI protesters

Punjab Police, Rangers and ATS commandos conducted a grand operation to disperse PTI protesters from Blue Area on Tuesday night and arrested 450 PTI workers and during the operation Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Ganda were arrested. Poor accused the protesters and fled. Reports said that more than 1,500 law enforcement personnel took part in the operation and used tear gas against the protesters to disperse them.450 PTI protesters were arrested and security forces resettled the containers earlier removed by PTI workers. During the operation, the central container used by the PTI leaders caught fire. Blue Area and started raid operation to arrest Ali Amin Gandapur and Bushra Bibi. The containers were removed from Khyber Chowk by angry protesters. Kulsoom Chowk has been rehabilitated.As the Rangers regained control of D Chowk, the protesters split into several groups, stationed at different locations. Apart from this, there was a clash between police and PTI supporters. In view of this situation, security was increased in the area. Earlier it was reported that PTI workers under the leadership of party founder Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi reached D Chowk on Tuesday after removing obstacles on the way.
