Balochistan govt imposes Section 144 amid PTI’s Nov 24 protest

The Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 in the province, under which protests, rallies and gatherings have been banned. According to the Balochistan Home Department, the gathering of more than four people and the display of weapons were also banned. Due to security concerns, this ban will remain in place for 15 days. The decision was taken in response to the PTI’s call for protests in the capital in which the authorities ensure public safetySection 144 has been enforced across the province for three days, a notification has been issued in this regard. In the notification, all kinds of protests, gatherings, rallies and sit-ins were banned across the province. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan called for a protest in Islamabad on November 24 and warned that those who do not participate will be expelled from the party. will be given.
