Govt’s timely efforts put economy back on track: FinMin Aurangzeb

Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb says that due to the sincere efforts of the present government, signs of improvement are being seen in the economy. Addressing a press conference in the capital on Sunday, the finance minister said that inflation has reached single digit ie seven percent. – 38 percent as Prime Minister himself was leading the effort in this regard.The finance minister said that international financial institutions have expressed confidence in the country’s ability to deal with the economic crisis. He said that the IMF staff was also amazed at the success of Pakistan’s economy which stabilized in just 14 months and the performance of the board was good. They are aware of the government’s ability to get the country out of crisis. The Minister highlighted the cooperation of the Chief Ministers of all the four provinces and said that the government can achieve the best possible results by working as a whole.
