HOBART, Australia (AFP) – Ireland won the match by defeating Scotland by 6 wickets in the seventh match of the first stage of T20 World Cup.
In the match played in Hobart, Ireland achieved the target of 177 runs in the 19th over. Curtis Kaempfer remained unbeaten on 72 runs.
Lorcain Tucker 20, Andy Balberney and Harry Tector scored 14 and 14 respectively.
Scotland’s Mart Watt, Broadwell, Sufyan Sharif and Michael Leask took one wicket each.
Batting first, Scotland scored 176 for 5 in the allotted overs.
