Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar arrives in UK on three-day official visit

London – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has arrived in London on a three-day official visit, where he will hold important meetings with the British leadership, Kashmiri leaders and the Pakistani community.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, Ishaq Dar is scheduled to meet British Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner during the visit, in which bilateral relations, economic cooperation and other matters of mutual interest will be discussed.
The Deputy Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet British Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Pakistan Hamish Faulkner, Commonwealth Secretary General, British Members of Parliament, Kashmiri leaders and representatives of the Pakistani community.
Ishaq Dar will also visit the Pakistani High Commission during his visit to London, where he will formally inaugurate the Punjab Land Records Authority project. Through this project, Pakistanis living abroad will be facilitated in land-related documents and legal matters.
According to sources, the main objective of this visit is to further strengthen political, economic and people-to-people relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, while resolving the long-standing problems of overseas Pakistanis is also among the priorities.
