Security forces eliminate 15 terrorists, four soldiers lay down lives in KP IBOs

Security forces on Saturday eliminated 15 terrorists in two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.On the reported presence of terrorists, an IBO was conducted by the forces in Dera Ismail Khan’s Hathala area. During the conduct of operation, the troops effectively engaged the terrorists location and consequently, nine of them including their ringleaders HVT Farman aka Saqib, Amanullah alias Toori, Saeed aka Liaqat and Bilal were eliminated.The terrorists were involved in numerous activities in the area and were highly wanted by the law-enforcement agencies.In another operation conducted in North Waziristan’s Miranshah, six terrorists were effectively neutralized by the security forces.However, during intense fire exchange, Lt Muhammad Hassaan Ashraf (age: 21 years, resident of District Lahore) leading his troops from the front, fought gallantly and embraced martyrdom along with his three men.The three soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice were identified as Naib Subedar Muhammad Bilal (age: 39 years, resident of District Dera Ismail Khan), Sepoy Farhatullah (age: 27 years, resident of District Lakki Marwat) and Sepoy Himat Khan (age: 29 years, resident of District Mohmand).The ISPR also said sanitization operations were being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area as the security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism.
